THE PILGRIM’S CYCLE

2015-2018 | Acrylic, Ink, Charcoal, and Gold Leaf on Canvas

These 9 paintings depict some of the most important days in the Western liturgical calendar, which tells the story throughout each year of Christ’s life and ministry. They are arranged in the order of the liturgical calendar: the Immaculate Conception, the Birth of Christ, Epiphany, Transfiguration, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter, Ascension, and Pentecost. You are invited to follow along with Christ’s story as you journey through the church year, around and around, over and over, year after year as we grow in understanding of the depth of God’s love for us, His Holiness, and his unparalleled sacrifice for His children.

“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!”
